Quanta utenza avete raggiunto, e a quanto mirate?

ENGLISH VERSION

World Cup is knocking at the door and electricity for soccer is in the air. It is catching on everywhere, from TV news to social networks. However, not everyone knows that soon following your favorite team’s match while you are out, it won’t be a problem anymore. I don’t mean streaming, maybe not too legal, or the SkyGo service, but a practical help in our city, at all lovers of football and rugby, and many more, fingerprints.

And this thanks to Findmatch, a fledgling start-up. A start-up that has considered the issue of responding both to the communicational need of the venues that broadcast live matches, and the needs of soccer and rugby’s supporters.

“It has never been so easy to find a pub transmitting your favorite match”.

Brazil 2014 surely set aside nice surprises as well as scandals. So, the alpha version of the Findmatch APP (APPdi Findmatch), recently out and already available on the Apple Store, is available to all soccer and rugby’s lovers. With fifty local collaborating on this project, FindMatch is expanding like wildfire throughout Italy.

TEAM:

It is a team of young people, fundamental characteristic of the soul of a start-up, which covers different areas ranging from the Marketing to Web Development and Mobile Applications.

The head of this team of these brilliant minds is Mattia Goduto, 25, Founder and FindMatch CEO. He studied Business Management at the LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome (LUISS Guido Carli) A convinced and “aficionado” supporter of A.C Milan.

At his side the Co-founder Stefano Lino, 27. He too graduated in Business management at the LUISS Guido Carli, and he is responsible for the commercial area. His fault or his honor, at your choice, is being a Juventus’ “aficionado”.

Previously, they were incubated in LUISS’  iLabs, the incubation program for start-ups that have at least one member of the team made in LUISS. At the moment, the soccer lover start-up is waiting to know if it will be accelerated from the Luiss EnLabs center that we previously mentioned in our articles

How did you start and who helped you making this project?

Findmatch was born from an actual problem I had whenever I wanted to see a match out with my friends. We could never find swiftly the best local with our favorite match. So, at the end we asked ourselves: why not develop immediately an app that can solve this problem? And here we are, today already with the first free version for the i-Os platform. So far we have only used our financial resources, as we strongly believe in the FindMatch development throughout Italy. Even the i-lab LUISS, our Advisor, is helping us in the development of the project. We first created a team with diversified skills, and then immediately to work, day and night.

What drove you to focus on this kind of reality?

We believe FindMatch really has huge potential of development throughout Italy as, even today, in a Country where sport is a major hobby, still there is a lack of a service that promotes, sponsors, and in general made known one of the most expensive service for the locals, which is the Pay-TV. The main thrust has been conviction and determination to achieve our objectives in a framework, such as the Italian one, with great difficulties. Moreover, we decided to focus in an area, such as the digital, with a high rate of growth and that will tend to grow in the coming years, mainly due to the increasing use of smartphones and tablets.

What are your future plans?

We are aiming to become the main platform for all businesses who wish to advertise their  Pay-TV services in an effective way. Of course, this will allow all our users to quickly and easily find, everywhere they are, their favorite local with the match they had chosen. Currently we mainly are in Rome, but we hope to reach all the other Italian cities in the shortest possible time.

How many users have you achieved, and how you targeted to?

We still are at the beginning, but we hope to reach thousands of users as soon as possible in order to allow anyone to quickly find the favorite local with the favorite match. To do this, we are launching a series of advertising campaigns to reach our target.

What does exactly the reserved page allow you to do?

Our reserved page www.findmatch.it aims to describe FindMatch both to users and to the locals, which can also make an initial registration to the FindMatch circuit. The venue will then be immediately contacted to participate, in the free trial version, for the entire summer.

 Which is your target audience?

Our target users are mainly non-resident students and Italian and foreign tourists. And of course, to anybody who want to see the match in another place in the city or just in another local. We already have received inquiries from people traveling to other Italian cities that did not know where to go to watch the match at the weekend. We hope to satisfy all the requests as soon as possible. In addition, all businesses that wish to advertise their Pay-TV service can register to the  FindMatch circuit.

Talking about the Italian current situation, as a start up, how much do you feel supported by institutions, universities, and which atmosphere do you breathe doing business in our country today?

Even today, we young people are living in an economic / political situation with great difficulties, in which courage and determination are the two key ingredients in order to do business. Nevertheless, I think that in recent years small steps forward have been made, particularly by universities that through the development of incubators and accelerators created spaces with a new and innovative mindset, where sharing and communicating are rule the roost. In addition, significant financial supports to innovative start-ups allow you to develop more rapidly throughout the project. Only this kind of mentality will allow Italy to return to be a competitive Country in the world.

“The WalkMan” aims to give space and visibility to young talents like you. What do you feel to suggest to those who have decided or are deciding to invest their lives in creativity?

I think that only creativity, the desire to get involved and courage can help young people to find the right path to success. During the development of a start-up, there are innumerable problems and difficulties to face, but you don’t have to fall at the first hurdle. So, you always have to believe in your ideas and projects, but at the same time create a strong team, able to effectively develop the idea, the project. The idea alone is not enough, it is much more difficult to develop.
