ENGLISH VERSION

Last Jan. 20th in Rome took place the fourth date branded to HiTalk on Italian excellence, the exclusive setting of innovation that distinguishes Luiss EnLabs in Rome.

High Idea Talk is the exclusive event in which six speakers introduce and talk about themselves in a storytelling of 12 minutes each.

This new format of events allows the show of outstanding personalities, different from each other, which are able to provide to their listeners a key to understanding the present, offering an opportunity for discussions and reflections. From Media to Technology, from Science to Social, these are the topics discussed on the stage of HiTalk; an event where the sharing of knowledge becomes an inspiration for a curious public, hungry for ideas.

The next meeting will be on 5 March and the places are limited and if you want to participate you have to book a place.

Speakers:

Gian Marco Todesco: a mathematician and the creator of Toonz, he revealed to us with enthusiasm and with a dialectic property that can paralyze the whole room, fascinated by the digital back story of one of the most admired and appreciated director today, Hayao Miyazaki.

Well, yes, on the stage stepped the creator of the software program in which the visionary Japanese gave shape and colour to its greatest works such as “Spirited Away,” “Howl’s Moving Castle,” “Ponyo” and his last great work “The Wind Rises.” The charm of the cartoon is ageless, and still today, the Digital Video S.p.A, founded in 1986 currently supports the best imagination, providing software excellence products for paperless animation branded Italy.

Rosario Sorrentino: a neurologist and a since writer, with its seraphic calm has addressed the issue of panic and fear, projecting the audience in a state of psychological self-analysis, causing them a question on self-esteem and humiliation. The neurologist is also author of the book “Panico, una bugia del cervello che può rovinarci la vita” (Panic, a lie of the brain that can ruin our lives), for further study on these issues the advice is to visit all his website: Rosario Sorrentino.

Remo Pannain: a lawyer, illusionist and the creator of Super Magic, one of the most anticipated events of the capital in 2015, where he will play with the room and with his magic rope to the conjuring show with the best magicians in the world, to the stage at the Stadio Olimpico, in Rome, from 29 January to 8 February.

Sergio Noviello: a plastic surgeon, who with his reflections on the future, wonders if we will be healthier and more beautiful in a thousand years, showing what will be the morphological changes of our faces: bigger eyes to better observe the boundless places of space in interstellar travel and wider forehead to give place to our brain, which is constantly growing and evolving.

Piero Vetti: a journalist and social media manager, with a wave of freshness on stage, the young founder of Good Morning Italia and with brilliant arguments, speaks of dynamic publishing made in the web, which plagued the network. His creature is a dive out of the current; able to fight the overdose of information that invades platforms. Good Morning Italia answers the question: How do you informed in this river of unstoppable, restless and intangible news that often results in news untrustworthy? It is no coincidence that Beppe Severgnini says: “A machete in the jungle of information! The guys from Good Morning Italia are really good: every day they open the door to everybody.”

Fiorello: special guest at HiTalk4 was Rosario Fiorello, not as an actor/ presenter/ showman (well, of course at the end he did his show), but as the innovator of communication. His speech was hilarious and brilliant, providing some interesting and ironic ideas in the communications field. With his format “Radio da Strada” (Road Radio) or well: Fuoriprogramma and Edicola Fiore has made the impossible possible, he carried out a radio show with a smartphone. With his audio notes Fiorello has revolutionized the world of Radio1 Rai.

The editors from The WalkMan Magazine without doubts can define Fiorello as a startupper of the radio world.
